Trade fairs are all about meeting people, with presentations of offers and companies. It’s worth cultivating established friendships, because nothing can replace direct conversation….
The SURET team participated in the International Manufacuring Technology Show 2024, held in Chicago from September 9-15, 2024. With its own booth, a well-chosen marketing and sales team and a distinctive brand image, it was possible to use the time and space very effectively. Here are some post-trade show data in the infographic below.
Over the course of several fair days, our booth attracted the interest of several hundred people, of whom dozens of meetings turned into interesting, inspiring conversations at the table. The presence of a European company with such a specialized offer as relocation and installation of production aroused interest and even positive surprise among visitors to the SURET booth, and our team took full advantage of this interest.
In addition to the numerous strictly business contacts that are already resulting in inquiries from all over the world, we have also built relationships with local organizations that can help us build brand awareness in the US market in the future. We can certainly count Don Pask and Bogdan Pukszta of the PACC (Polish-American Chamber of Commerce), Ginta Rubin of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, Fabrice Bonvoisin of the ITCC (International Trade Club of Chicago) and Karl Buschman of the CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) among such individuals.
Today, after several months of exchanging information with people we met at IMTS Chicago, we know how valuable contacts we have gained and what directions to take in building a presence in the US market, for the time being, focusing on the Northeast of the country. For better communication with our partners overseas, we have opened an office in Chicago, where our representative can arrange a meeting. As we grow in the US market, the office and its staff will be expanded accordingly.
